Who We Are

Our story began in 1991 in the quiet village of Anthikad in Thrissur, Kerala, as Yogakshemam Kuries & Loans Private Limited. What started as a local initiative soon became a trusted financial support system for the community. In 2000- 01, we achieved a significant milestone by securing our NBFC registration from the Reserve Bank of India, paving the way for broader opportunities. Kerala was just the beginning. Over the years, we steadily expanded our presence into Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. Today, our extensive branch network helps us serve a diverse and growing customer base across South India, bringing financial empowerment to every doorstep. The year 2015 marked a turning point. That’s when we had the honour of joining hands with Mr. Ramachandran Ottapath, CEO of the Botswana-based Choppies group and Mr. I Unnikrishnan MD& CEO, they infused fresh capital to the Company and took over the management from the founding team lead by Mr. N.D. Narayanan. Together, we infused fresh energy, strategic direction, and financial strength into Yogakshemam.
